1986 — Where I go back to

1986 — Where I go back to is a zine I set out to create solely about my love of 1986 Topps baseball cards. It turned into a love letter to a specific era of my youth.

I grew up reading zines, favorites including HeartattaCk, Punk Planet, and Anti-Matter. I of course loved learning about new music and scenes, but the personal writing was especially impactful for me as a teenager. At an age where it's so easy to feel alone, they let me know I wasn't. Ever since then, I wanted to contribute, but for one reason or another (primarily imposter syndrome), I never did. Until now.

This zine was very therapeutic for me to write and design. I hope you enjoy it!
